  This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel and still we can't find any fault with it. Staff are extremely friendly even at 3 am in the morning they simply can't do enough for you. As people know Bulgaria get's a bad name for customer service in general but certainly not at Hotel Consul in fact there's a few hotels we've stayed in could cert... what people say » ainly take a leaf out of their book when it comes to dealing with customers. Ideally located near Sofia airport and under 6 leva in a taxi. A big tha - We liked everything about this hotel from the welcome we received and the prompt email reply when I asked about a very late check-in. The room was very large recently refurbished and the bed was very very comfortable. The hotel is literally minutes from the airport and moments away from the Sofia ring road.We weren't really looking forward to breakfast as our experiences before of a Bulgarian breakfast has been poor But certainly NOT in this case we had a beautiful breakfast also yoghurt and o
