  Eduardo and Sergio were very friendly and welcoming. They were excellent hosts and couldn't be any more helpful. They gave us great advice about getting around Brazil and helped us out with bus tickets etc. Eduardo is a fantastic surf instructor! He went above and beyond to teach me to surf. The hostel is in a nice quiet location, perfect if you w... what people say » ant a break away from it all. The cooking facilities are a necessity as there are very few places to eat within walking distance. The beach is a 15 mi - The host was really friendly and gave us advice on where to go. The location is a great retreat and the bus to Ubatuba and a number of beaches was cheap and quick. Be aware though, Itamambuca is pretty much in the jungle, don't choose this place if you're looking for partying or a city break!
