  The owner is lovely and so helpful, especially as she has great English. Amazing breakfasts and nice touches to the rooms such as the DVD player and DVD library and proper plug in Mozzy killers.   The hotel is a wonderful example of a boutique hotel. The superior room has wonderful old wooden floors, and is dressed in a plush colonial fashion. The rest of the hotel is modern and clean but still hold the feel of intamcy of a grand house.   The location is excellent, just right across the beach. The swimming pool is fantastic and the atmosphere is relaxed and quiet. The staff was always kind and nice, and always ready to solve any issues that might come up. We would definitely stay at Village Muta again, if we could.

  Stayed at Le Terrace recently and couldn't have been happier with the choice of pousada. Very nice staff, excellent english by Raphael, good breakfast and best location on the island.   Pé na Areia is a well cared location with a lovely tropical garden and easy acess to the beach. The apartments are well furnished and in the kitchen you find everything you will need. Also staff are very friendly and helpful. The manager Marco is always around and a very kind person.

  What an experience! Reginne and Bernard's hospitality was amazing! From taking us on a private tour of Arraial d'Ajuda, to wonderful homecooked breakfasts, we felt like we were friends, not guests. You can tell they love the wonderful home they have created and love even more sharing it with their guests. Bernard and Regine were extremely friendly and helpful hosts while still allowing us the independence and privacy we wanted. The breakfast was excellent. The beaches(10mins walk) are beautiful and the bar and restaurant area of Arraial (20mins walk)was safe and had excellent live music.
