  The staff were very helpful. Not all spoke english but no problem google translator fixed that...the main thing was that they wanted to help and found a way around language. One employee Mara who did speak good english was outstanding and couldn't help enough.   The hotel openly communicated it's renovating and made a successful effort to minimize related inconveniences for it's guest. The price of 80R$/night was absolutely fair, esp. since the room I stayed in had just been renovated.
