  The staff was incredibly helpful, setting up a waterfall tour for us on the spot. They were also able to check us in early and allowed a late checkout, which was fantastic for our rather hectic travel schedule. The room was small, but very clean and modern. It was central to everything and a short walk to the boats for day trips to the islands and swimming. I would highly recommend the Pousada Do Ouro.

  This place is fantastic! We have travelled in Brazil a lot and this is the nicest place we have ever been. It is the perfect environment to relax, chill out and have a laid back time. The owner is generous, very friendly and spoils his guests wherever he can. He even offered to make fried eggs and crepes for us for breakfast. The room is clean an... what people say » d comfortable. The shower was always hot and nice. We personally enjoyed that there are no kids around. We loved to watch the cats, monkeys and birds - The Pousada was very well designed, you can see that the owners and the team pay a huge attention to the needs of their guests and also to the conditions of their property and facilities. They all were so friendly and even helping us to find a nice place on our way along the Costa Verde. They serve real good breakfast, have a nice garden and the rooms are equipped with all you need. But the biggest WOW-effect was to see that they focus 100% on the well-being of their guests, without any stress.

  The Staff was extremely helpful. The manager Luci goes out of her way to help. She knows which tours to take and can help you get them set up and she speaks perfect english. She is there at breakfast to meet and greet and to help with any questions. Really comfortable. Great breakfast. There were pet cats there which adds to the honey atmosphere. They offered great suggestions for restaurants and a boat excursion with Sr. Antonio!
