  I really enjoyed the hotel, the staff was very helpful. My family does not speak portuguese (I do it), so the staff spoke in spanish with them. We came early the day of the check-in, however since the bedroom was without people, they let us do the check in before the hour. In our last days the staff also helped us to book a tour to Ilha Grande, an... what people say » d also the cab to the airport in our final day (we leave the hotel close to 3 am). Some people say that the room was small but we stayed at the 3 peop - The rooms are newly renovated and very clean. The room we had was just the right size for 2 people and bathroom is in excellent condition. Despite speaking limited English, staff are helpful. Around the corner is a burger place and across the road is a juice place and also, a really nice sandwich bar and restaurant. About 10 minutes walk to Copacabana beach.

  This hotel has a very good location (quiet, safe, close to Flamengo Park and Beach). Very kind and helpfull staff (we asked in spanisch, they answered in portuguese or english - was a nice mixture), but we got all information we needed. Breakfast was excellent with rolls, bread, ham and cheese, fresh fruit, coffee, tea or juice. We will definitely... what people say » recommend this hotel. - Staff were friendly and helpful. A clean hotel located very close to the Flamingo beach.Good value for money if you were to pay the internet rate. I would like to recommend the hotel for a couple with no children.

  The staff bent over backwards to help me with my extremely poor Portuguese. Location perfect as the Metro Catete is only 3/4 of a block, beach 10-15 min, lots of shopping. - Excellent location, allows for great mobility.

  Ok, this is not a five-star hotel, but they don't charge a five-star price either. My opinion is, you get exactly what you pay for. It's in Lapa, this means it probably used to be in a slum. It is not in a slum now. It is 50 meters from Selaron staircase, a famous landmark. It is a vibrant neighborhood, so maybe it's not ok for children -- I would... what people say » n't know. We're a reasonably young couple, and for us it was just perfect. Stuff are very helpful, they do speak English (I was prepared to resort to - Good location in Lapa, not far away from the Arcos da Lapa or Cinelandia station. A rather tidy room. Good views from the windows.
