Its architecture is beautiful and it also has a good restaurant. The desserts were gourgeous and I recommend the cacao one, which is a delicacy. I also found the Shamash spa absolutetly impeccable. Very nice place, good service, very gentle staff, very good spa. First, I think that the bungalows are pretty but lack basic stuff and ammenities. They don´t provide tap water for free, just to give an example. Also, there aren´t carpets in the entrance, so you may always bring sand from outside. But what I missed most were the traditional Bahian hammocks. It is a sign that the hotel is still lacking local charm and Bahia´s lifestyle. I felt as if I was in a Sao Paulo´s beach hotel than in Bahia. Also some staff were a bit annoying.
