  The food at the restaurant was outstanding, it appeared mostly local. The room was perfect and the staff very friendly, helpful and patient since I only spoke English and no French. I rented a mountain bike from Coo Adventures just down the street from the Hotel and spent three days touring around the area. Breathtakingly beautiful. It has been a ... what people say » dream of mine since I was a teenager to visit this part of Belgium and everyone at the Val de la Cascade helped insure I had a wonderful time. - I was staying in the annexe what is completely renovated and super clean. In general personel I had to do with was very friendly, spoke dutch and French without any problem. Yes I think it's worse going back. People complaining now should see the shrink
