  This is the second time I have been to De Joker. I stayed in a different room this time. A beautifully presented stand alone studio with a separate/private entrance. Kitchen, small dining table, seating area, TV, comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. Wonderful service yet again. I would gladly recommend and I'm sure I will stay here aga... what people say » in. - Owners was friendly and helpful. They gave us a nice and introduction. We stayed in the suite with balcony and it was a neat, romantic, large, duplex room. Room has its own kitchenette and it was nice making our own dinner. Not much to see in this area but it was a base for us for Brussels and Antwerp so it was OK.

  We are aged 28-33 and stayed here for the Reggae Geel festival in August 2014 as we did not want to camp. Hotel was great location 5min walk from Geel station. Katleen the manager is very accommodating and really helpful. Lovely rooms, reclining beds, clean throughout. Would recommend to all travellers. - Very friendly welcoming hosts.   The owners are very welcoming and made every effort to attend to my needs. I had come to work on a book with a colleague who lives in Antwerp and they arranged for her to have an extra key, which is just one example of their accommodating nature. Much appreciated. - The beds were comfy, the kitchenette was very handy, the breakfast was a bargain ... what people say » and well-supplied, and Paul the owner is a wealth of information, as well as being a Springsteen fan. Free parking nearby and a 15-minute walk to the town centre. Would stay again.
