This is a brand new conversion of an old building and the design and finish is very good. The comfort level is high and the breakfast is first class - with freshly cooked omelettes on offer as well as the usual continental options. It's very good value for money. The hotel is beautifully designed, all decoration were carfully choosen. we got a beautiful room with extra bed for my baby with no extra charge, the atmosphere was excellent. exactly what we needed. a break from the city in comfortable hotel.Nice rustic hotel with very personal service from the staff Very clean rooms and nicely decorated Not sure what the previous issues were regarding heating in the room but it was perfectly warm enough for us. The family room was large and very well decorated to a high standard and very clean, the evening meal we had was also excellent. The evening meal was excellent and we were made very welcome. The all room was great, the breakfast and the fact that it was easy to find. Service. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good quality and reasonably pirced.very. Room very comfortable. Internet access in room. I had wrong cable to connect to internet and they managed to find a cable I could use.Very comfortable and stylish accomodation. Friendly staff. Would certainly use again. The highlight of this guesthouse is the little traditional farmhouse restaurant that serves food cooked using old Grand-mother receipes. Even though we hadn't booked, they still fitted us in. We sat at a table right by the open-plan kitchen, so you really get a homely farmhouse feeling. There is a 3 course menu for € 24 which is excellent value for money. They also have wine from the Ardennes. The furnishings and decoration of the hotel was excellent and contempory. lovely decoration and friendliness of staff. Excellent loicartion, friendly staff, nice walks in immediate neighbourhood, brand new, ... Beautiful hotel with very nice rooms and good food.It was a nice room, very clean, good facilities. It's a pity that they don't serve meals every night - just 2 or 3 nights a week. We had to go to a sister hotel in a nearby village which was slightly irksome after a long day's travel but perhaps they'll do more as the hotel becomes more established?. the fact that there wasnt an elevator (and we stayed on the third floor). The only concern was that none in the hotel spoke english or dutch, but they did try their best to speak clear and slow french for us to understand. The village was full of road works with paths dug up everywhere. Village not as pretty as others in the area. Not easy to find and roadworks in village. The one gripe we had was that our room was quite cold and the heating took a while to make the room feel cozy. I would suggest that upon arrival of guests, the heating should already be on, as it is really uncomfortable/un-welcoming to walk into a room that is very cold. Otherwise, our room was very comfortable and stylishly decorated. The room was indeed not very warm. The service at the reception was not good.Bad welcome. The view from the room was of children's play equipment and someone's backyard. The hotel was very noisy - it is located right next to two major roads and traffic wakes you up. In addition, on the lower floors you can hear every movement of people on the upper floors. There is not much nearby -- we were looking forward to a romantic getaway in the Ardennes, but were very disappointed.
