Loved the host, she had a wonderful perspective on life which made discussions over breakfast a real treat. The host was also very flexible and happy to accomodate guests at very short notice. The location was great and the house design was very boutique.
The bed was amazingly comfortable too (you really need to try the bed :o) -

Very spacious and quiet room, extra large and extremely comfortable bed (1,80 x 2,00 m). We loved the vintage / antique decoration and the fact that the room had no TV contributed to the vintage-feel. The huge and gorgeous wooden bathtub in the middle of the bathroom is a life-saver: after a long day walking around the city, there's nothing better than soaking in hot water for more than an hour! This place is outstanding. It is not a B&B, it is a luxury hotel at an incredible price. We booked a room with the bath. It was jaw dropping amazing. Elke is the perfect host, who has taken great pride in creating this establishment, and it really shows. The main attractions are a short, but manageable walk away. -
