Very friendly and helpful staff. Indeed, a value-for-money hotel with basic though nicely served breakfast, comfy double beds, clean rooms. Excellently located close to the EC and NATO institutions. Good connection with central Brussels. Free Wi-fi is another good point, though the system is a little bit weird, however not a problem at all - one has just got to it in the beginning. The family room - 4 beds - was ideal for us. Breakfast was included. The restaurant was closed during our stay but we found a few restaurants nearby. Great value for the one night. Transport to city centre (bus) was about 20 minutes and really no problem.
all reviews » While the cost was very friendly, hotel service was much better then of regular 3-star hotels in the Brussels downtown. On top of it, the cost includes a breakfast which is rather exceptional for Brussels. Friendly and flexible service for a group of visitors to the eu institutions in Brussels. All that we needed in terms of accomodation, clean and a good breakfast. Direct bus to European Centre. staff very friendly not far from airport get 21 then 12 daily bus ticket will do on both buses .the hotel has a restaurant but is closed for renovation .near schuman the european parliament. Simple, has everything I need - and now free wifi too. I like this place. Great value for money, really good breakfast, friendly staff. Knew what to expect so quite happy with hotel. distance from brussels city bus and metro about 40 minutes . no tea /coffee facilities .no hot meal for breakfast but there is cereal and rolls tea and coffee and juice. Didn't get me nailfungi so it's ok for €60 or less. The hotel was very noisy at night because of artifacts and windy weather is miserable. The internet connection was very bad. - Hotel is maintained but very dated and on the edge of becoming seedy - Bed was Chinese rock hard. - Hair dryer didn't work at all - Not close to metro and bus was slow and unreliable to get to city center. Poorly maintained (2 bedside lamps had no working bulbs and none in the hotel to replace them), decoration tired and in some cases worn out, as far as they were able the staff were OK, No onsite restaurant. too hot inside small room stone hard beds and pillows. We stayed in July and the room was hot with no air conditioner. We had to keep the windows open, but the noise from the traffic kept us up all night in addition to the heat. There was no elevator so we had to drag our luggage up three levels on a narrow staircase. The shower staff was rusted and the door was broken. The shelf above the sink was missing. Colors of the room, too much stairs to carry the luggage, poor options on breakfast. -There is no parking, so it is very difficult to find parking place on the street , knowing that in Brussels there is no free parking nowhere..... - Poor breakfast comparing with the price per night. - Poor types cleanness in the bathroom almost nothing. Bathroom , pillows ,. "poor" looking. Bar is open only during breakfast and there are no bars around hotel. So I bought beer at Pizzahat… :( Internet connection is very very slow… I couldn't work with internet...
