Clean! Modern, functional, comfortable. The small size, very kind and attentive staff, the informality, the superb food. Also, being right on the forest with lovely walks. Excellent restaurant and very good service from attentive staff. As we were visiting my sister in the area it was a great location. A little far from the center of town, but that can be an advantage. No kleenex in the bathroom. And if that's the worse I can say.....Wonderful hotel/inn experience. Stairs to bedrooms a bit steep if guests had even slight mobility problem. I have asthma and found them a bit of a strain. Possible to get better value and equal quality in city centre if this area is not the priority.Room decor was a little bare.

Marble, rattan furniture and hunting trophies decorate the great hall, making it look like an Italian brasserie. A la carte: French specialities as well as Italian dishes, plus a wide range of delicious season game meals. Also à la carte, 2 menus with a multiple choice: the Menu du Chef 21€ (a three-course menu) and the Menu du Patron 37 € (a four-course menu). The wine list, a flavoursome mix between France and Italy, offers more than 80 wines, from white to red, and rosé.
Information about the area
Located on the outside of town, in a quiet and green suburb of Brussels, we are next to the forest where many paths do allow very nice walks and runs. You can sleep with your windows open : the birds are the only one that will wake you up !!!
