Charming hotel, attentive staff, good continental breakfast,comfortable beds. feel of home stay, delicate ornament. It is a beautiful building. breakfast. The owners, Ludwig and Hilde, were outstanding. They were most accommodating and gave us information about sightseeing and driving directions. Breakfast was good and the room was very clean!! And the windows have no screens. Breakfast is like in France, i.e. minimal.Hard to find a parking spot close to the hotel, as the street quickly fill even being paid. The hotel staff helped finding parking alternatives in the neighborhood. Far from city centre but there is a tram to centre. The area of the city where the hotel is located is not great but there are regular trams to the city center. No phones in the rooms, nothing but a soap dispenser in the bathroom. Not easy to find parking. The halls and breakfast area always smelled like smoke.Room not very warm. Bed not very comfortable. High price for thefacilities (75eur/night-september) - although good price compared withother nearby hotels. Nice breakfast but certainly could be better. The breakfast was poor. Only bread (not toasted) and spread. But that's not such a big deal.The bathroom outside the room. Only tea and coffee available at breakfast, no juices, although this may have been available on request.The room had dim lighting (hard to read at night) yet when trying to sleep, too much light spilled into the room from the hallway (from a window above the door). The breakfast was poor. Very uncomfortable beds.
