The service was excellent - a birthday cake was produced when the check in staff discovered it was one of our group's birthday. Our room was very quiet, the staff were helful and the decorations in the old parts of the hotel were wonderful. Hopefully its appearance will be kickstart a renaissance for Liege which looks like a city which has seen better days.
