Good location for overnight stop en route to Dunkirk. Had front room on 2nd floor which was very quiet due to excellent double glazing. Staff were very attentive without being overbearing. It was obvious the staff were very proud of their hotel and nothing was too much trouble. Buffet breakfast was very good, the choice was very extensive. Hotel is situated just a few minutes walk from the city centre, with plenty of restaurants. Great Saturday market.
all reviews » Hotel very clean. Staff extremely helpful. Location very handy for Aalst. We were going to a concert in CC de Werf and it was ideal (about a 10 minute walk through the town centre). The breakfast was superb, with every conceivable choice and as much as you could eat. Would certainly stay here again. The manager was very keen to ensure our comfort and satisfaction - the wifi was excellent - the breakfast spread was extensive and up-market - the room had shower robes and slippers provided - restaurants etc were close by and cheap (24hr = 2.50 euro) public car parking at the back of the hotel. The effort that has been put into making it not "just another hotel". I stay in approx. 20 differant regular business type hotels each year and this was a wonderful change from the norm that ame about purely due to the corporate "gray" hotel I normally stay at in Aalst was full, thank God !!!. Friendly and very helpful staff who gave us ideas for places to visit and to eat. Comfort of room with eficient fan. Decor of public rooms. Very good breakfast. Well situated to access city. Public parking nearby.Super!. We liked hands on management, the personal touch, warm greetings and lots of smiles. the calm classic designs of the décor and without doubt the best breakfast in Oost Vlandaren.
