We received an amazing welcome from the owner. He was extremely friendly and helpful, couldn't have done more. Very concerned that we were warm/comfortable enough. Haus Ditzer is located a short walk from Zell so easy to walk into town and the lake. Large candles lit outside at night were a lovely touch. Good breakfast, lots of cheese, meat etc. Small fridge in the room and was able to borrow a hairdryer, which was marvellous! Would most definitely recommend Haus Ditzer to anyone visiti.
all reviews » First of all,Haus Ditzer is located very close to center, where restaurants, bars, small shops,lifts, E.T.c are situated (only 2 minutes by car). The rooms are comfortable and very clean and the Marcus is friendly and always at our disposal. You really shouldn't miss breakfast.Very good value for money. Overall what I have to say is that although we came to Zell am See for holidays , and we'll surely be staying at Haus Ditzer!!. The villa looks really great. It was one of the few places we booked, that looked better in reality than the pictures. It has a unique charm about it and it makes you feel like home. The owners have exquisite taste for design and everything is thought in small details. The young owners are extremely friendly and glad to help with trip advices or city recommendations. We are planning to return there again this year!. We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was very good, but we didn't except that there was a train before we crossed over to the lake. Overall it was still excellent. The host was the best we have had during our stay in Europe. He was very helpful and helped us to to Grossglockner and up the mountain via cable car. He showed us live reports of what the weather was like. Breakfast was very good. I don't really know how it could be any better. It is almost at the lake, walking distance away from the center of the town, surrounded by mountains. Markus, the owner and his family, don't omit anything to make you feel really, really good. I am afraid, if you wanted the blue from the sky, they would get it for you, too. Haus Ditzer is amazing! Our room was roomy and the décor was lovely. Markus, our host was so helpful and a wealth of information - we didn't even need to go to the tourist office! Only a 10 minute stroll along the lake to town. I highly recommend this pension to anyone visiting Zell am See!. The owner of the guest house a very wonderful person and his hospitality undescrbeable. The room was decent and the location is 10 minutes away from the city center. the staff provided us with the best view room as requested, the room size was decent and is has too balcony's in external and external. There was nothing we didn't like! But just thinking about what would make our stay even better.....maybe a couple of blankets in the room so we could have these during the night. Wouldn't have wanted to wake the owners in the middle of the night!!. W really can't find anything to say we didn't like about Haus Ditzer - Villa Theresia. Nothing to dislike. There is nothing not to like. The stairs of the guest house was narrow. Specially to the ppl who have big suitcases. Can be a bit noisy since hotel is located right on a main road. But with closed windows it's not a problem. A little bit noisy as the hotels stands straight on the road. On busy main road so noisy if you have to have the windows open. nothing. A little far from the center and city ski lifts if you don't have a car (20 mn walk) Internet (Wifi) was not working Breakfast: served until 9 am only and because we were 15mn late for it one morning, nothing was offered to us (although the price includes breakfast), that was poor service! Not a great breakfast anyway. The room was a bit noisy because of the street. It was noisy in and out ( old building and using stairs making big noise). The worst was the checking out time which was 10 AM. Moreover, do not order breakfast if you are not pork eater. The hotel is manged by the owners him selves and he was too rude with bad attitude with guests, breakfast is available on order a day before and you have to pay extras. the location is buy the main road and train rails its some how noisy and you hear the voice of the other rooms and even the stair steps!.
