The staff are really friendly and willing to answer all kinds of questions. The free map given by the hostel are really cool. Also, I stayed in a 6-beds room and it is small but tidy. There is also a bar in the hostel, convenient for solo travelers! However, due to its location, next time I would prefer another Wombats locate closer to the main street and metro station! I cycle with my 5 friends to Vienna once a year and it is the 4th time we stay in Wombat. Super location, great staff, fairly price and room. The highlight of this time was the "GREAT" service provided by the receptionist Veronika! U have great folks working there! THX on all my friends behalf.
When you arrive you feel exactly like at home.
But I´m an alien, so I can only appreciate their habits.
"European prices" except the happy-hour-time and the 6 beds-rooms, very good.

Staff are helpful
Although the hostel is not at city centre, it is near to several metro stations (less than 10 minutes walk).
Rooms are clean, breakfast is a value, and appreciated the free drink tickets which got us to take a breather on the patio.
Hostel is near the city and Stadthalle, clean, good breakfast for its value. Good atmosfere for young people.

The place is good for its money. Perfect location, near to the railway station.
Although I had to pay more, the breakfast was very good.

The location is a bit far away from the train/metro station, at least 10 mins walk. No matter you are with a suitcase or a big backpack you would not want to carry it to walk that path more than once. Also , there is a really quiet path leading to the hostel from the main road, when girls may feel a bit insecure when walking alone. There is only 2 electric socket in the room (including the one in bathroom). It is really inconvenience for charging!!!.

Can only access wifi in the lobby while the lobby is tiny, with only 4-5 seats.

Trafic outside, bunkbeds arent very comftable (matreses), only one elevator (it takes time to come to 7th floor if its many peolpe..
The noise of the repair works from outside and the low ceiling in the room.

This place is for backpackers only. Not really suitable for families. You have to make your bed yourself. No towels available - you can buy downstairs for €10!.
