Set against the majestic backdrop of the Hintertux Glacier, the family-run Hotel Jäger offers a quiet location in the centre of Tux in the Ziller Valley. It features 2 spa areas and an indoor pool. Hotel Jäger serves Tyrolean and international cuisine, as well as select wines, in its restaurant. A rich breakfast buffet is served in the morning. Various themed buffets are offered regularly. The non-nude spa area features a steam sauna, infrared sauna and Finnish sauna, as well as the indoor pool. The nude spa area includes a bio sauna, steam bath, herbal sauna, Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, ice fountain, heated bench with a foot basin, and relaxation room with salt stones from the Himalayas. For children, a varied programme of activities, including canyoning, climbing, cave adventures, glacier days with fun in the snow, an Indian wigwam camp, campfires, and tennis classes, is offered. Hotel Jäger offers a weekly guided hike with the owner in summer and a ski guide on one day a week in winter, as well as reduced prices for the ski rental. Ski passes are available at the hotel.

Nice staff, good breakfast, room looked very good. We stayed in house nr. 3; it just have been renovated and looks very good and clean. Close to mountains, good for hiking in summer and skiing in winter. Perfect location to go to Hintertux or Mayerhofen (bus connection). Very friendly staff. Everything was perfect!. Lamp on a balcony was not working in the evening. Hotel is located on a steep hill, so it is not that easy to access it with a car. Also it has a small garage/parking area. It's hard to park with bigger car.
