Steindorf is located 504 metres above the Lake Ossiacher - a beautiful small village at the foot of the Gerlitzen Alps (1910 metres).

Lake Ossiacher See is the third biggest lake in Kärnten and one of the most popular family lakes in the country. Due to its central location you can reach the most beautiful destinations in a few minutes by car.
The unique combination of mountains and lake water (up to 28 degrees) offers numerous activities, including nearly every imaginable sports activity and many cultural highlights - the ideal place for family holidays.

By train:
There is a train that runs along the lake and along all villages, only during day time.
