Even the kitchen staff was great. The breakfast was good (but get there early to get a taste of everything). The room was very nice and clean. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go from the hotel.

  The rooms are exceptionnally large and clean, with nice furniture. The hotel is quiet, though located absolutely nearby the center of the city (8 to 10 minutes from downtown). The restaurant of the hotel, though we didn't have the chance to test it apart of breakfast, is excellent.   The hotel was very good value for money. The guest kitchen facility is brilliant and really allows you to economise on food spending by making quick meals/sandwiches. The room was clean and comfortable and I was very pleased with the experience I got for the money paid. There are timetables in the hotel for the buses and they also have a map of the city centre. Aldi and Spar and Mcdonalds are nearby at - If you do not know where to have a breakfast have it in the hotel! If you are travelling by car there is an underground parking so you do not have to worry about a parking space even if the hotel is full, and you probably will not use the car because with a SalzburgCard all buses are free! Buying a SalzburgCard is a big advantage and very good deal if you want to see most of the museums (the castle with the trolley) - just get a brochure of the SalzburgCard and you'll find out why it is a must!

  The hotel is about 10 min by foot from the main train station and the way is simple. Additionally, after reservation you receive from the hotel an instruction how to get to the hotel. We chose a room with a bathroom. Our room was very clean, comfortable, big enough for 2 people. It was on the second floor. Moreover, we got the room for non-smoker... what people say » s, from a garden site – as we asked when we're making the reservation. So we had a beautiful view of the Kapuzinerberg and the Heuberg. The old town i - The pension was perfectly clean, and approximately 20 meters from it is a bus stop. The busses run about every 20 mins, but it varies. The reception staff is very helpful. Do buy tickets beforehand, to save unnecessary expensive on the bus purchased, tickets. But remember, on Sundays, most shops are closed in Salzburg. The main train station is definitely walking distance. Currently there is construction going on, so to handle luggage down and up stairs can be a challenge.
