Very nice cozy place to stay, not far from the cenre and close to trainstation but at the same way not so near which is good - not crowdy at all. We walked to the centre (about 20-30min) but there is a bus station right in front of the hotel. Especialy I liked the dining-room, breakfast was normal, but the room itself is a pleasent place to start your morning. Nice room with terrace. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and it is a short trip to the old town and the main sights. Very comfortable beds and fast wi-fi. We had a triple and we had two separate bedrooms, which was really nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful in answering all our questions. There is free parking in the hotel parking lot.
all reviews » Your very fluent English speaking receptionist who had a lot of knowledge about the area tips for the buses and ways of walking into town .A huge pay rise I think ! Dark haired lady age late 40'S . The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it and the young dark haired waitress very friendly too , all your staff were great . Though the hotel is not in the old city, it is just about 15 minutes from the center by bus. The staff is nice and helpful. We have a triple room which is spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is good and there are many choices in the breakfast buffet. Quite, clean, family hotel. Free parking. Great receptiontist he was friendly and very helpfull. Location convenient, close to the city center. Very close to the hotel there is an excellent beer house (ask the receptionist). Good internet connection. A little bit outside the center, but not more than a healthy walk and after doing it a few times we found out the bus stop is directly in front of the hotel and runs every 20 minutes. Plus, we were able to walk to the hotel from the train station. nothing. There is no elevator in the hotel so it is difficult to take your bags to the room. Lack of air conditioning and noisy with open windows (very quiet when shut). 61 steps to 3rd floor was hard work, maybe less depending on your age. There is no elevator and there are no bell-boys. The bathroom curtain but that's about it!. There's no elevator. Not the easiest place to find at first. The location to Salzburg. Old town is not walking distance. A bit far from the old Salzburg for some people. You have to be willing to walk 30 minutes or take the bus from just outside the hotel which runs hourly, I believe. We opted to walk. More of an European flavor though with this hotel!!. Far from the city center (cca 30 min walking), not good sound insulation between rooms, no fridge in the room. Breakfast foods were not replenished! Never saw it happen before Problem with remote control for fan not resolved for over 24 hours! We could not get a cup of tea on two occasions from reception as receptionist was not allowed to make tea. No dislikes. Low and uncomfortable bed, pillows far too soft. Asked for another pillow, never received it. No comfortable lounge chairs. Breakfast food was not always replenished as necessary, coffee only lukewarm. There was no elevator and the room was 3rd floor. Breakfast was less than avarage. We could hear people passing by our room - definitely not for somebody who seeks a privacy. The room was not the biggest but still O.K. No lift. Was a bit hard to find with the one ways. the map not so clear , better to take bus from railway station to hotel with heavy luggage. a little small. no elevator, but I knew that before hand. the inner passage to the rooms is very cramped.
