I don't think you need to look beyond Gasthof Rosslwirt for budget accommodation, cleanliness, comfort, great location, nice breakfast, free wifi (though it is sometimes weak but doesn't really bother you on a holiday as you are there for a trip and not for internet surfing). I would recommend this place for couples, youngst... what people say » ers and families. It is the best choice if you are like being in the country side and also very close by Salzburg, 20-30 minute drive. But I had rathe - Nice farm atmosphere, clean rooms, easy to access from highway. Recommended for travelers who want to visit Salzburg and Salzkammergut area.

  Quite a spacious and, at the same time, cosy apartment with a big bedroom and living room with kitchen, sofa and TV. Part of a nice guest house with courtyard and a little garden. Nicely equipped. Very clean. Nice location, although outside the main historic centre, it's just an easy and wonderful walk away - and it's surrounded by the mountains ... what people say » and next to a little river. In addition, it's very close to the funicular, which is an advantage in case you plan to visit the Salt Mines or just go u - We have been in other guesthouses in hallstatt. This is the best!!! Very clean. Comfortable. Big rooms. Good bed. Parking place. The gentleman who checked us in very friendly. Everything perfect.

  The host, Helga, was very nice and gave us a lot of great information about things to do in and around Hallstatt. Would definitely stay there again. - The owner, Helga, was so helpful, breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean and very comfortable, Hallstatt was unbelievably gorgeous
