I don't think you need to look beyond Gasthof Rosslwirt for budget accommodation, cleanliness, comfort, great location, nice breakfast, free wifi (though it is sometimes weak but doesn't really bother you on a holiday as you are there for a trip and not for internet surfing). I would recommend this place for couples, youngst... what people say » ers and families. It is the best choice if you are like being in the country side and also very close by Salzburg, 20-30 minute drive. But I had rathe - Nice farm atmosphere, clean rooms, easy to access from highway. Recommended for travelers who want to visit Salzburg and Salzkammergut area.

  This pension is managed by young couple- Laurent and Cecilia- who are fluent in English, French, and German. They are professional and the pension is quite cozy and spacious.   Gosau valley is very pretty and Pachler's place is at a good location. It was convenient for us to visit Hallstatt (15kms away) and lower Gosau lake (about 7kms I think) from there. The house is beautiful, well-maintained. Room is a good size, big windows with great views of the surrounding mountains. It didn't have a balcony but it did not matter... what people say » . Some other rooms seemed to have balconies. Bed was very comfortable. And Mrs Pachler was a nice hostess. She wasn't there at the time we arrived, bu - An ideal place for those who are looking for a holiday in quiet, green place with spectacular views. Wonderful hostess, Mrs. Pachlers, trying to soothe stay with a nice breakfast pastries own hands, jams and other goodies, clean and comfortable rooms and even tips itineraries in the region. In summary, a great deal, a fair price and sure we'll recommend all of our friends on the spot. Thank you again Mrs. Pachlers :) .

  Tiny "Pension" in the old town of Linz, in the middle of the historical district. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and very quiet during the night, the double beds are big enough and give good sleep quality.
