The family owned hotel made you feel right at home, extremely helpfuland friendly. This lake shore hotel with the view of thelake/mountains is a gem. Stunning View! We just loved it. Even had playground for the children. We would love to go back and spend more time there.Great value, wonderful restraunt, very charming with live music on the lake our last night. We would have liked to go skiing, but owing to the storm we went sightseeing in Hallstatt.

The staff smoked strongly on the reception and on the restaurant part, and this was felt in all of the hotel.For the travaller to town Hallstatt, it is some far on walk(about 3km). We had dinner at the hotel restaurant,and the food were quite salty.The small and very uncomfortable bathroom smelled weird, and the mattresses were so unpleasant, that we could feel the springs all over. Transportation is not so easy if there is no boat.Hotel room is rather too small.

- Coming via the A10 motorway take the exit in the direction of Golling and
continue via
