Very friendly and helpful hosts. Super clean room, literally spotless.You'll feel very at home, room design and dinning room is very homey.Bed sheets smelled like sunshine and flowers :) Room comes with a double bed aaand an extra single, very family-friendly. Sizable room with TV, table, chairs and a BALCONY. On a sunny day you can probably see the horses grazing not far away i the nearby pasture. I walked from the nearby football field and saw the horses first. House took me a bit of time to .
all reviews » Very nice B&B. We had two rooms of 3, both with balconies with views of the mountains. Rooms were large enough and beds were comfortable. Good shower. Adrian and Jillian were wonderful hosts. They were very helpful in planning our stay. It's in Obertraun which is a 3 minute ride to Hallstat so total access to the entire area. I would highly recommend the 45 minute walk from Rye Haus along the beautiful river with the mountains all around you to a 5 Star restaurant. Best meal we had in our 2. The attention to detail was very impressive and greatly appreciated. The house was meticulously built. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, by any standard. The bed & linens were top quality. The location was beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic. The WiFi signal was strong and high-speed. The hosts, also the proprietors and original builders, were available for anything, but completely unobtrusive. Nice and very clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed for longer stays, too. The breakfast is rich. Marvelous outlook to the mountains and to the valley from both the room and from the eatery. The landlord and his wife are very friendly and helpful, they have lots of suggestions what to visit in the region depending on the weather and on the needs of the visitor. The food at the local restaurants was superb, and our trip up the mountain unforgettable. Hard to believe it would be a great base for skiing as it was so hot when we were there !. We really enjoyed the peaceful ambience of Haus Rye . Adrian and Jillian were both very welcoming and added to the sense of calm homely comfort we felt whilst staying here . We spent three nights and found plenty do do in the region . We would love to return sometime in the future. Wonderful bed and breakfast The owners were welcoming and friendly. They suggested a great local restaurant, which was a great experience. It is a little hard to find, but well worth it. Beautiful b and b and area. Clau&Tom's verdict: need an average but very clean place: this is it!. Nothing that I like about this place. Nothing. It's really a stretch to come up with any dislikes. Access to either a shared or small in-room refrigerator would be a nice addition. A microwave in the dining room for the bag of popcorn or late night snack would be appreciated, as well. Be aware if using GPS it will try and take you across a bridge that is no longer vehicle access. Not a fault of Haus Rye, just a tip for drivers. The hosts will of course inform you, but if like us you only have wifi each night you may like this tip. :-). 没车的话会不方便。早餐不能提早到8点前。. Haus Rye would deserve one more rating, if the breakfast would have offered more choices of everything. Being located in Austria, which is well known for it's gorgeous breakfasts, we expected much more. Over priced for the cheap accommodation and aloof owners especially the husband on nonwhite guests.
