Very cozy residence! We stayed here for 1 week in July with my kid of 4 years old. It was very comfortable for us 3 to cook and eat and it was very convenient to do many activities around there. Wi-fi had no problem. We had a very nice landscape everyday and my kid loved to go to swim in the lake almost every evening where it takes 8 minutes on foot. The bed is very comfortable, and it is the most comfortable bed in all my trip in Czech and Austria; the house has everything you need for cooking, although I don't have any materials since the supermarket is closed when Saturday and Sunday. It is very close to the bus station, and train station, only 1 min walking distance.

Though I believe that it is NOT responsible for this residence, we found some flies. I guess that it is because of the compost around there. Austria has a strict regulation about the garbage and the trash.
I didn't realize the room rate is Euro45, plus Euro 30 cleaning fee, when I booked this hotel, so the room rate is really a surprising high when I checked in; no wifi; the couple who run this hotel didn't speak English, they speak Germany. But the bed is very comfortable, and I stayed in another hotel in Hallstatt another day, with similar room rate euro 75, but with very small room comparing with this one.

relatively poor choice of shops, bakeries and restaurants with short working hours.
1. Wifi connectivity was poor.
2. Hot water facility for bath was not sufficient even in the morning.
3. Bed was slightly uncomfortable.

- very old furniture and equipment (incl.bedding)
- lack of towels, soap etc. in bathroom
