  The family who run the hotel are absolutely delightful people who could not have been more helpful and had excellent English. The food was lovely, the room was beautiful, everything was spotlessly clean and so nice and warm.   Very unique experience. The hotel is, indeed, a 900 year old castle high above the city of Mittersill, Austria. Not difficult to find. The room was medium size, but had a grand view of the valley below and the Alps. The dinner was elaborate and quite fun. Service was excellent.
