The staff were very friendly & informative of the town & surrounding area providing a great & varied breakfast daily. We spent twelve nights here & were sorry to leave.   Great staff - Margaret (the owner) is very friendly and the most helpful of the hotel staff we met during our trip. (She even did laundry for us!) Setting is beautiful, in a quiet (in the summer) town surrounded by mountains.

  The owner, Doris, was very friendly and went out of her way to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. My room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Free wi-fi is a bonus. A generous breakfast is served in the beautiful, authentic Austrian breakfast room with views beyond to the snow-capped mountains. I would happily stay here again... what people say » ! - Our stay at the hotel was a very nice experience. Beautifully located, managed perfectly with a personal touch. Everything was just marvelous from the room with a view of the mountains, to the hospitality of our host Doris. We would have loved to stay there more for it seems like an ideal place for hiking and winter sports. We loved every moment

  Very quiet, nice staff, excellent food, nice building and rooms. We chose it mainly because they could take a 5 day booking, which very few other hotels would consider, but it was a most pleasant experience. - It's a little cosy, hospitable hotel situated right in the centre of Bad Gastein. We absolutely loved it being there!

  mostly everything was nice, the apartment was very nice, the position was very nice but a little bit unpractical because you can not reach the house without a car, but this problem is quite good organized by cable car - Loved the room and the chair lift to the hotel. Food at the Bellvue Alm was amazing. Cozy. Amazing views.

  I loved staying at Bad Gastein and at Pension Steinbacher. The family run hotel is very comfortable and the Seebacher family are warm, friendly, helpful, kind people. The town is a spa town and caters to health and wellbeing offering spa treatments. It's also a hu - Location is excellent, just 8-10 minutes walk to the chairlift and spa centre. The owner is very friendly and accommodating, I've managed to practice my German since she was very patient :-). Bar on the premises is a bonus, it was not crowded and it was quite handy having a pint of draft Trumer pils on site after having a dinner somewhere else. Breakfast is excellent, ingredients very fresh and of high quality.
