This apartment is about as close to perfect as one can get. It is owned by an English couple who retired in the area. They were informative, helpful, and friendly from our very first communication. The apartment itself is immaculately clean and everything is excellent condition. It is very conveniently located to the train station, but on a dead end street away from the noise of the city. Bad Ischl is a perfect location for exploring the entire lake district. There are many options for hiking, .
all reviews » 1. Mr. and Mrs. Herridge were two very friendly British people and can speak both English and German. They were helpful with our travelling plans and offered very good service. 2. The appartment was big, clean, well furnitured and warm in winter. 3. From the bedroom we had a very good sight of the Alps. 4. Covenient traffic: the Bahnhof is only 5 minutes away and trains connect Hallstatt and other beautiful towns. City centre is also very near where you have everything. Mike and Jenny were excellent, from the moment they picked us up at the station they have been helpful and friendly. Unfortunately our visit to Bad Ischl was during the flood period but luckily the apartment was warm and comfortable. The apartment is easy walking distance to everything in Bad Ischl with lovely views over the mountain. Lovely location, apartment is very clean & comfortable, a real "home from home". Mike & Jenny are very friendly, they made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and gave us lots of tips/advice on where to go, what to see, etc. Very professionally run. Spacious, clean and homely appartment with separate, well-equipped kitchen. Quiet location just a few minutes from the town centre of charming Bad Ischl. We loved every about the apartment could not fault a thing. Mike and Jenny were extremely helpful and friendly. Size, space, location, welcoming owners. It will be better that Mr. and Mrs. Herridge provide a dryer next to the wash mashine otherwise it is a little tricky to dry the clothes. Besides, although there are few people in the winter so that it would not be so crowded, it will be better to come to here in summer. Was just a bit difficult finding the location because of the many roadworks but on phoning Mike and Jenny Mike came immediately to show us te way. Nothing.
