Wow! Lovely hotel with great sea view. We were only there for an overnight stay, but left wishing we could have stayed much longer. Staff were welcoming & helpful. Great swimming pool!.
IngBeing out of town and quiet environment. Travelled to Yeppoon for
other things, not a problem. Extended our stay because we felt relaxed
and given a good rate for extra night.
Beautiful resort. Excellent breakfast at very reasonable price. Very economical overall with great facilities. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.
Beautiful view on the gardens and a far away view on the sea. Unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy all that was on offer, but looked really pleasant.
Easy, relaxed atmosphere. Easy check-in and check-out system. Comfortable relaxed room. Lovely gardens and peaceful grounds.
The pool and grounds facilities were amazing. Great place for a family holiday and not too far from the town centre.
Huge comfortable rooms. Excellent hotel facilities and restaurants. Amazing swimming pool.
Clean room, good access, well-kept gardens, great value breakfast.
Great room, excellent bathroom. Very clean and comfortable.
All the different activities for families to do.
The grounds were just beautiful as was the pool.
Excellent japanese restaurant at the resort.

Food was fantastic and value for money. The outside areas very good and friendly staff.
Pool area was very good. Activities for guests was also great.
The pool was awesome. It remind me of wet and wild.

The Pool.
Leaving.
The bed. The mattress and the pillows were so hard we hardly slept at all because we could not get comfortable. Insufficient lighting in room for our old eyes. Only bed lamps and one other light which shone on the art work. Air conditioning temperature inconsistent.
Nothing.
Nothing. Typical resort where prices for food and drinks are usually 20-
25% over what is available in town.
That I couldn't dtay longer.
Needed a car to get around. Very little within walking distance.
That we only booked one night, would have loved to stay longer.
insufficient car parking places undercover or on internal adjacent road.
Doors had no soft closure mechanisms, so there was a lot of slamming going on. Also no wi-fi, only old fashioned pay-as-you-go terminals near reception. Very family oriented, which was good for families, but not for us as an older couple - but our mistake not the hotel. Also hotel a fair way (10k ?) out of Yeppoon centre.
We arrived after 5pm so the air conditioning had been on for some time and the room was so cold it was painful.
The air con was so cold and it didn't seem to turn down.
Non working light bulbs and an unidentified leak on the floor.
Air conditioning vents in the ceiling in the dining room were filthy, thick with dirt especially over some tables and the food bar.Seat covers dirty on the chairs on the dining room covered with old food stains.
nothing.
No power for 8hrs on the saturday and everything was wet from the condensation. And not enough shaded areas at the pool. Bar staff need more people skills and bar skills.
Only thing I would say is the curtains in the room are torn and need replacing and the door doesn't close unless you push and slam it.
no wi-fi.
Probably the only thing that was a bit disappointing was that it rained the whole time we were there & there weren't really any activities set up inside. It would be great if the activities hut had enough space to put a pool table, giant chess game, ping pong & some other indoor activities.
brochure is obviously out of date. no pool bar open, no laundry and a credit card surcharge every time you use it.
rooms very average, old and dated, probably wouldn't stay there again for that reason . we were in 3033 and being a mecure resort we expected much better accomodation.
Houskeeping didn't sweep/vacuum the floor in our room for the entire stay, which clearly needed it. Dusting skirting boards etc would be a nice change too. Generally a bit unkempt.
Restaurant where breakfast is served was shocking. Very tired &
grubby looking and needs to be completely made over. What our
International Guests think would be very interesting. Also I was very
disappointed in Breakfast. No cooked tomatoes, no mushrooms thought it
was very poor.
Needs Maintenance , rundown ,peeling paint , cracks , Sliding doors jammed. Insect screen doors broken . 2 of four courts unusable .
Very little cloths storage ,no draws ,1 small closet ( in the room we were in) .
Freezing cold room and restaurant. Did not enjoy meal at all. Was to cold to enjoy. Had to have heater on in the room and was still cold.
pool bar didn't open until weekend, prices have gone up, no where to buy a decent lunch.
Slow staff.
Staff with attitude.
Too many kids.
Getting a little old.
Rooms very dirty,.
Were disappointed with the room , very different than what was shown on
website, could do with a revamp, Paint off skirting boards, mould on
tiles in bathroom, no ventilation in bathroom. The mattress was very
hard and the springs could be felt when lying down. Service in the bar
wasnt great either, we were ignored. Went to have a spa in the evening,
no water in the spa. Overall we were disappointed.
Decor looked a little dated.
location far from city.
location of room, got told when booking it had ocean and pool views, could not sea either.
the venue is tired.
Although we did not use any facilities my first impression of foyer n outside area are very impressive. From my experience though from staying in accomodation all up n down the qld coast, for the price we paid for the nightand the room we got was fairly poor. Infomation we received stated the room was self contained. No plates bowls cutlery microwave or cooking facilities available. The beds were lumpy. I do not think the room was worth the amount that we paid.
Extremely uncomfortable beds. Beds on wheels on tiles so when sittin in bed to watch tv bed went scootin accross the Room. Couldn't turn up air con in rooms and no extra blankets in rooms so very cold.
The cleanliness of rooms was very poor, mould on doors, dirt on edges of rooms, lifts dirty, broken hooks in bathroom and loose cupboard handles. Very poor maintenance and cleanliness for the price !.
The accommodation is way below standard And the breakfast was not a great experience.
Had assumed a Mecure hotel would have room service and mini bar ... after travelling and working all day it's all I ask.
Room was small. Breakfast was fatty and didn't taste very nice as well as screaming children in the dining room. Shower was to low with the tap at the other end of the bath. No signs to show the way outwhen leaving.
The poor standards of the room. The bed was rock hard and furniture very outdated. The fact motorcyclists and 4WDs were allowed on the beach creating noise and making it dangerous and not relaxing at all.
The noisy guests who were clearly smoking marijuana and making noise having a party at 2am waking other guests.
Old small elevator, old car parking with rubbish everywhere around and no lights! no wireless internet around and limited selection tv channels.
Activities are in poor shape. Played archery and they had lost so many
arrows we all had to share. Tiles in room were cracked and dirty
looking. It looked like a second hand carboard door as the
bathroom/toilet door. One person serving at the cocktail bar the
entire stay even when the line was massive.
The whole place needs an upgrade. It was dirty, the beds were like sleeping on a rock.the ceiling in reception was full of mould. Prices at the bar are far to expensive.
Floor got wet from rain coming under the floor.
Stayed in room 5033 over Easter and the concrete "channel" beyond the balcony was full of rubbish and had not been cleaned for a considerable period of months or more. Looked disgusting.
Having to sleep in a mould infested room.
