Very quiet. Good facilities, wifi, pool, golf course, pretty much in the country, lots of trees, right on the interstate highway, very interesting surrounds as it was the home of the El Cabelo Blanco dancing horses.
had a great game of golf, then completed the weekend by staying at the resort, very comfortable and friendly.all reviews
Public golf course nearby.
Not too far from other towns of interest.
The rooms are very spacious and food is served in very generous portions. There are a lot of things to do though more in summer than winter.
Restaurant food was excellent and the Chef (Mohammid ?) was very
friendly, helpful and caring including all staff.
Room was comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the Spanish flavour and space although it wasn't much like the real Spain!.
the price.
I liked the 1970's feel of the old resort.
nothing.
No much of the history of the dancing horses was on display. The empty arena and stalls are very poignant and there needs to be an explanation, more photos and memorabilia of those days to explain to the traveller. They have missed a selling point here as every one was asking about it complexes past.
unfortunately I was looking forward to a steak, but when we arrived at restaurant they had a buffet. The food was good, but was not hot at all.
Not too many things tp do at the resort.
Even though serves are generous it's actually wasteful, we could only eat half the serve, the rest was thrown away. Standard of food was just above average. Things are very quiet at the resort in winter so fountains etc are turned off which lessen the appeal though we understand the need to do this.
Cobwebs in suite, spiders in spa, outside seating area not cleaned or
swept, carpets stained, unable to lock back doors to resort
ground/pool area, no information given on arrival about resort
indoor spa and gym.
The buffet meal seemed like an excuse to serve up leftovers from the week: we would have preferred less choice with better quality food. The pool water was so cold it took your breath away and did not encourage a longer dip. Also we had a lot of trouble finding the hotel- needs better directions with the booking.
no water in fridge. cobwebs in the bathroom. asked for a dvd player but couldnt get it to work.
The location was miles from Perth, despite it being listed as a Perth
Hotel. It was at least an hour drive out of Perth. I actually thought
I'd gotten lost or the sat nav was broken.
everything.
Room TV was not working
Room heater was not working
No spare blanket - lucky not a cold night
No clothes iron
Very poor value for money compared to other wheatbelt towns accommodation
Dinner - buffet also very poor value for food quality
Poor service from bar and waiter.
