Most of our family stayed in cabins at the Warburton Caravan Park. This was not our style but just across the road is the Warburton Motel hidden away in the trees on the hillside. We had an upstairs room with great views across the valley. The room also had a door to the back balcony with a view of the gardens. It has convenient onsite car parking although the driveways both front and back are rather steep. The room was very clean and neat with all the expected motel extras. The management was .

Not a fancy motel, but very neat and clean with tea and coffee making facilities- perhaps should show that on the website photos. Friendly helpful staff. Asthma friendly- they agreed to clean the room without chemicals prior to our visit. Perfect location as we were attending a friend's birthday party in Warburton. Nice setting with relaxed seating in the gardens and friendly owners. Old building so rooms fairly basic, but clean and pleasant. Comfy rooms. Homey feel. The house cat made himself at home in our room and we enjoyed his company- made us relax even more. Gorgeous garden surrounds with many birdcalls. Lovely bright and clean room with everything we needed. Perfect place to rest our weary heads after a long days cycling. This is not really a valid motel criticism and we did book at short notice, but we would prefer some microwave & cooking facilities. Toilet paper type was substandard. Should provide rolls. Small cups in room for coffee/tea. Nothing. Postage stamp-sized toilet tissues!. No wifi. Was a bit outdated. nothing. Shower was a little small and felt makeshift, very cramped for me. Rooms were not sufficiently soundproof. Was cold in my room ,couldn't operate heating,( probably my fault for not saying anything to the owner). No wireless. The place is looking a little tired. Old fashion. Needs to be brought up to date. Small queen bed, noisy fridge. Much overpriced and in desperate need of an update. Dining room was closed,mosquitoes after dark. the hot water was up and down. other guests were very noisy. the bed was uncomfortable. had to park facing the units making reversing out in the morning with fogged windows difficult. The room did not match the pcitures at all, we were bitten by insects and the constant hassling by staff about wether I was booking in or not was simply ridiculous. Staff not on site for much of our stay therefore no assistance available when needed and no way of contacting them. Motel currently on the market so will hopefully improve with new owners.
