The staff here obviously know what they are doing. From check in to check out, you could see their experience/training. Even with the problem that arose, they gave three choices for a solution. These people know how to deliver excellent service in tricky situations. The facilities are good and it would be nice for a family holiday as its a great resort feel. It's close to the Sunshine Coast Hub whilst when you return to the resort you feel you could be anywhere, very relaxing.

There was no need to leave the resort, all the water activities and kids club was ample to keep and our little grandson and us occupied. Beautiful Gardens, Water sport activities, range of food options (restaurant, take away, coffee shop), bar, pool, lake and circus. Loved everything. Great prices through letsbookhotel.com. Loved the impressive foyer area and the lakeside setting. Room was mostly fine with a great view of the lake. Bikes for hire were great and flat terrain in the area was great. We have stayed there many times ... it is always a friendly, safe, clean & familier place for us to visit. Kangaroos on the beach were a highlight of this visit. Most staff were very helpful and polite all the time Everything is at hand and seems very popular Facilities were all good. the staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a problem with the key, staff corrected this immediatly. Nice clean room. Courtesy bus picked us up from The Loose Goose (local restaurant) late in the night. The activities that came with the room were fantastic. Canoe, kyak, sail. Absolutely brilliant!. The porters were very friendly and helpful. The abundance of fun things to do at the resort. Reception area, restaurants and natural setting are beautiful. Comfortable beds and pillows. The water and gardens. Clean, modern facilities.Buffet Breakfast. Comfort of Room Breakfast variety. bathtub, bed, pillows,. good kids activities. View. Buffett breakfast was good. Once staff couldnt find our booking they did go out of their way to sort it. I liked the room and the restaurants and the activitys were great!. Facilities. Location. ease of registering and payment. Good in room food. Trees Kangaroos Lake. They assumed that they could upgrade two people to a king suite when I had booked a twin room. Always appreciate a free upgrade, but you aren't always travelling with your sleeping buddy. They sorted it really quickly, our choice was to split the king bed into singles. Housekeeping was in and out within the hour. Fantastic!. Just a little unkept/ not maintained. The finer details aren't cleaned. There was nothing I didn't like. Parking was limited and sometimes oversubscribed. Eating and drinking at the resort was expensive. $28 for a 12 inch pizza or a little less for fish and chips. Rooms a little tired and some weird electricals caused some confusion-eg tv reception was very poor unless certain lights were switched on??. Restaurant is a little too expensive @ $75 ea on a Sat night. We have always enjoyed the breakfasts in the past but the last couple of times the restaurant has been to busy ... too much queuing. That we did not have enough time to enjoy all the facilities. We attended a wedding at Mooloolaba and only spent the night. A little bit expensive for a total of 10 hours in the room. The food was overpriced and not the best quality. A bit too expensive as the rooms and internal facilities are quite old. Cold (that was meant to be warm) food at breakfast. Finding it in the dark as there needs to be a sign saying, "Keep Going" after the golf club turn off. Poor choice within the hotel for evening meal. (Lily's on the Lagoon now apparently closed). no microwave in room. water sports didn't open until 9am. Location. My self and a friend were in the pool and a father of 2 children started to abuse us for no reason. We are both in our 50's and female. It was so traumatic we couldnt move till this man left the pool. We did think about reporting but our visit had been ruined and we were both very upset and traumatised by the event. The reason for our visit was that I travel to see the rhumatologist 2 x year. Some staff were not pleasent .on turn up staff had forgotten to put the booking onto computer so they had to put us in the grand mecure across the lake which we didnt like. Had to go dine down the road at a very expensive restaurant cause none of the staff new where we could eat at the actuall resort.it would b good if all the staff knew the resort like the back of their hands . When we asked questions not many had answers for us. The service wasnt great no one was in the day spa when I went to have a look, I got a call saying I was getting $150 worth of vouchers get to the counter and she gave me two coffee vouchers. Small poor quality tv, no shampoo or conditioner was given to us and lacked attention to detail with meals at one of the restaurants. Cleanliness. This hotel needs updating. The bath towels had holes in them and the doona was stained. For the money I dont feel that its worth it. Tv is a small computer like screen, not equivalent to other hotels in the area. sell of time share when booking in cost of breakfasts and meals were too much parking availability meant that bags had to be carried a long way. Poor bedding Dated rooms Limited room facilities Rooms overpriced. pillows were flat, bed was uncomfortable and actually lumpy. Sheet was stretched tight over mattress to conceal lump. I had a sore back after sleeping on the bed. Resort is not geared for couples. One pool riddled with kids was not at all pleasant. Room quality- old, tired, warn out Couldn't find hotel at night!! Really frustrating - drove around for too long Couldn't get a car park! No cutlery in room eg bottle opener. We found some of the staff to be very unwelcoming, and then we wasted four hours listening to the Vacation Club spiel particularly when we really only had 1 full day of our 2-night stay.
