We stayed here for 2 nights whilst we did the dolphin feeding and a Fraser Island day tour. We loved it and so did the children. The owners were helpful in every way & the rooms were so clean & comfortable. The kids loved the pool and when the tide is out in the bay the scenery is just stunning !! Superb value for money !! And would love to stay again. My partner and Ioved staying there the owners we so lovely and helpful we felt so relaxed and well looked after they really knew the local area well and were very helpful at showing us the best places to go we will be coming back for sure :).
all reviews » Owners were wonderful, friendly and efficient. We were greeted with a smile great tourist advice. The room was perfect for a couple and a toddler and was impeccably clean. Great surroundings and close to everything. Gail and her partner were really friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Gail also took time to show us the local tourist spots and the best restaurants to eat in. The motel is exceptionally clean and well located. Loved the peaceful setting, lovely garden, location close to the waterfront. Extremely helpful reception, got lots of good tips for restaurants, shop, dolphin feeding. Really good overnight stay. the welcoming manner of the owners who are more than willing to spend time telling us about the area and the dolphin feeding. cleanliness, location and comfort of the unit. My partner loved the bed but I didn't buy there is nothing you can do about that :). Lots of smokers staying there and they were all smoking just outside their rooms do my son couldn't go outside without getting a lungful of smoke. There was also a bad smell that came in the bathroom window when it rained. A bit further away from town center and marina area, need to go there by car. Was travelling with small children so it would have been helpful to have a small stove or grill in the room as well as the microwave. Would suggest having breakfast prior to visiting the Dolphin Feeding as we got there far too early, sans breakfast and had very grumpy, hypoglycaemic children and adults. The dolphin feeding is obviously geared to the wild dolphin tours and nothing happens until those buses with tourists arrive. No cupboard in Bathroom. nothing really, some noisey guest with little kids, but hey it was all good. Nothing. Nothing to not like!. Nothing to dislike. Nothing to dislike .. No DVD player. Nothing. No shelf in bathroom. Nothing I didn't like. Nothing. the location was fine , it was just difficult to find. The weather :-). Nothing.
