The Weintal is well located just out of Tununda, the staff were friendly and the facilities clean and well maintained all in all a very pleasant place to stay. everything about the room was very good, well laid out and very roomy.Food was very good as well.A great way to spend my 60th birthday!!. We liked the location ,room was very good great bed very quiet location ,great dining and bar and on site all in all highly recommend.

Great place to stay in tanunda with 4 vineyards all within 10 min walk. Would definitely stay again. In the heart of the Barrossa wine valley, Very good food, Clean, tidy and well worth the money. It had a range of facilities all on one site with bar, restaurant, bottle shop, good parking, etc............which is good considering its on the edge of town. Not much. nothing. nothing. Bed was a little to hard for our comfort, but that is a personal opinion. initial smoke soaked room. nothing. Shower recess had mould in tile grouting. The walls were a bit thin so you could hear the people next door going to the toilet. The bed was a little too firm for my liking. I booked a room with a spa, or so I thought, and didn't get one. The shower had black mould around the bottom tiles and cobwebs around the exhaust in the shower. Outside the window the grass was a foot high and desperate for a cut. I reported my grievances to the office upon leaving. I travel rarely and was VERY disappointed. Spa from next door could be easily heard. Could be a problem if it was being run late at night. Balloon trip cancelled due to weather. Disappointing. the room was quite an old room everything was very outdated. The air conditioner,we had to turn it off and on, the temp control wasnt working. Noisy guests next door could be heard at night and in morning. Coin operated laundry. No drying rack for wet clothes available. Poor lighting &signage at entrance;air conditioning poorly situated to access controls.Constantly lost my parking space -- spaces need to be numbered for each room. no electric blanket, poor TV controls. Rooms poorly cleaned and very outdated. Mould in shower and cracked basin. Restaurant closed for function and not told upon check in. Had to eat in bar. Very noisy. Poor service. Meal over cooked. A bit pricey for the room, it was in need of a more thorough clean out & safety check. Lack of parking close to our room. Shower hot water changed during morning. As wedding or venue hire on premises a lot of loud people around. Air con. Sounded like it was making ice cubes all night. I think we made a tonne of ice in just one night. Water pipes (clanging), from neighbouring rooms - very, very noisy. Most things. Blackened grout in shower. Well worn bathroom cabinet. Long hair in plug hole in sink. Cracked cupboard door in bedroom. Garden equipment/rubbish in view from window. 'Ancient' reading material in drawer. Spa bath took up half the bedroom - it just looked odd. I thought the rooms were over priced.
