  I especially liked the extra large size of the room. I liked having the mini-bar and snacks in the room, even though I only bought a couple of items, also all the little extras in the bathroom and kitchen. Staff were friendly and helpful. The small smoking balcony was appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. It was probably the best place I've enjoy... what people say » ed out of my last dozen or so trips. Thank you. - The proximity of the hotel in relation to the town centre and so on. I enjoyed the stay and the friendly nature of every single member of staff I met regardless of job title. Everything was clean, tidy and inviting and comfortable. I had the best nights sleep there I have had in a long long time. Very relaxed.

  The quality of the new units (no 61) was excellent. the quality of food in the restaurant (dinner) was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small problem with a mix up in the Eye fillet steaks not being cooked as per the order (which was confirmed as correct) resulting in two of four people having to wait longer and eat their meal after the... what people say » other couple had finished. This aspect was very unsatisfactory but the quality of the meals served (albeit late) was still excellent - The staff were friendly and helpful. The complex is well situation to the Clare township and wineries. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool, the bathroom spa and the excellent dinner where I experienced my first wagyu steak which was absolutely superb. Thanks Steve and staff for making our short stay such a memorable one!
