  We had a great stay, and were even upgraded for the two nights we were there, to the newer side - which had a great balcony right across the road from the bay, nice big room, really pleasant stay. The hotel is a hotspot in town, and the restaurant is very nice, right on the water (as is the hotel). The staff helped us make plans for tours, etc., a... what people say » nd we bothered them quite a bit :) but they were all very friendly! - We were given one of the newly redecorated rooms in the old part of the hotel and it was lovely. A beautiful view from the verandah and all the furnishings fresh and comfortable. With breakfast included we got a really good deal.

  The gentleman I dealt with upon arrival - (Con) was obliging, friendly & extremely helpful. He answered each of my questions & gave me the taxi phone number, location of the railway station, approx. cost of the taxi fare & was courteous in every way. He was never gruff or annoyed & I did make several trips down to reception to ask ... what people say » him things. Thank you so very much, staff and establishment for a good nights rest & refresh for the next mornings travel. - At the heart of city, only 2 minutes walk to the Bus Station and Central Market. 10 minutes walk to the Railway Station. All the staff are very friendly

  i thought the motel was very comfortable it wasnt glamarous but thats not what i was looking for.it was deffinately more modern but very much likeable. and if i was to stay in port pirie in the future i would choose travelway again ;) - close to hospital and also i was going to ring you i said i had a water but infact it was a beer wasnt thinki... what people say » ng right as hubby going to the hospital last wednesday night 4th sept regards alwyn thomas

  When we first arrived at the hotel/motel we were given a room which needed a little refurbishment. We spent one night there and the staff kindly offered us one of the extremely nice updated rooms as soon as it became vacant. It was bright and very clean as was the restaurant. It is situated opposite the Bay which was beautiful. I would not hesitat... what people say » e to return if ever in the area again. - Excellent staff who were very friendly. Room rate included continental breakfast which made the motel very good value. The restaurant bistro was also very good. Heaps of choices and again value for money. Fresh local seafood. Was very popular with all age groups the night we ate there.
