  The gentleman I dealt with upon arrival - (Con) was obliging, friendly & extremely helpful. He answered each of my questions & gave me the taxi phone number, location of the railway station, approx. cost of the taxi fare & was courteous in every way. He was never gruff or annoyed & I did make several trips down to reception to ask ... what people say » him things.   Great hostel with wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. The Wednesday night BBQ and killer pool competition was so much fun. I loved this hostel because of how nice and accommodating the overall atmosphere was. I would definitely recommend to other solo travelers, couples or groups. - The room was comfy the bed was excellent and room was quiet.... what people say » I was very happy with my stay.   I love this hostel, it was really clean, there is everything you need, except an oven. The area is really beautiful !! Plus 4 out of the 10 nights, I was alone in the 4 beds room !! Very friendly staff. Victor harbor (10km) is really nice. Well equipped kitchen. Really worth it - Superb location Very clean, uncluttered friendly, safe environment.... what people say » Comfy bed. Handy that when I arrived at dark found my way easily and although not attended they had left my key with my name and room number clearly marked and I was fortunate to have a dorm to myself for the night before I spent the rest of my stay in my tent - Excellent location.   The owners of the hostel have been super nice to us, allowing me to drop the booking and stay only 3 out of 4 days I booked. The place is really close to the ferry wharf and it is just a perfect base to start your adventure in ki! All facilities were handy. The owner was accomodating and charged no fee even though we've got a mess due to confusion with all our bookings and did not cancell some days at this hostel.   Unfortunately there was a mix-up with the backpackers in receiving my online reservation, however the staff member rectified this by upgrading my stay to a larger room with an ensuite which I was grateful for.
