I emailed the hotel and was told that a note would be put on the booking and they would make every effort to accommodate my request. Thankyou. - top location close to all good restaurants, cafe and retail shops. Superb swimming pool, spa, sauna & steam bath. Room is comfortable and size is good and large bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with so many choices and healthy fruit juicing drinks definitely value for money for a 4 star hotel

  We always stay at the Oaks Plaza Pier. The Oaks Pier is very modern, with an ocean view & world class restaurants at the doorstep. The Pier Bar is a great place to drink bubbles, wine or beer & watch the sun setting over the ocean. You can catch the tram into the city for great shopping, checking out the Art Gallery, Museum, Adelaide Oval ... what people say » (when it's completed it will be awesome) etc. or drive on to the wine regions at McLaren Vale, Barrossa Valley or Clare Valley (only an 1 hour away) h - Large clean rooms with good facilities. We had booked a few different room types as friends were joining us and the staff were very helpful and organised our multiple bookings efficiently. Seaview rooms are particularly good as they are quieter than the garden view rooms and are worth the extra cost. If we came back to Adelaide we'd definitely stay here again

  The Mansions is well located in the retail heart of Adelaide. the suite was a great size. the suite was at the building's rear so although the outlook is not great, it was very quiet. Having a kitchen is great for self catering.   We loved the hotel & the room. A special mention to the bedding it was so comfortable we had a good night sleep every night. The room was spacious and clean.   I especially liked the extra large size of the room. I liked having the mini-bar and snacks in the room, even though I only bought a couple of items, also all the little extras in the bathroom and kitchen. Staff were friendly and helpful. The small smoking balcony was appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. It was probably the best place I've enjoy... what people say » ed out of my last dozen or so trips. Thank you. - The proximity of the hotel in relation to the town centre and so on. I enjoyed the stay and the friendly nature of every single member of staff I met regardless of job title. Everything was clean, tidy and inviting and comfortable. I had the best nights sleep there I have had in a long long time. Very relaxed.

  We had a great stay, and were even upgraded for the two nights we were there, to the newer side - which had a great balcony right across the road from the bay, nice big room, really pleasant stay. The hotel is a hotspot in town, and the restaurant is very nice, right on the water (as is the hotel). The staff helped us make plans for tours, etc., a... what people say » nd we bothered them quite a bit :) but they were all very friendly! - We were given one of the newly redecorated rooms in the old part of the hotel and it was lovely. A beautiful view from the verandah and all the furnishings fresh and comfortable. With breakfast included we got a really good deal.

To top it off when we were checking out Mark Ricciuto stopped and initiated a conversation with us asking how we enjoyed our stay and spoke with us about our trip for 5 or 10 minutes. The location on the water but close to Adelaide; all of the facilities; the housekeeping (everything was spotless, glass shiny, etc.); the food was excellent and well presented; the staff could not have been more helpful and gracious.   The amazing service provided by the staff. I booked a room with 2 double beds but was given a room with one bed. Without any hesitation, the staff gave us a new room which was facing the beach. I also liked the security. Our room card stopped working so my husband went down to get a new one but the lady refused as it wasn't his name on the room. Even though we had the same last name, she took that precaution and it was nice to know your staff take security - Great reception at the door by the valet who organized the car and complimentary park for our anniversary. Restaurant service was slow but staff did all they could with short numbers - meal was worth the waiting. Room was comfortable and spacious. I did complete your room evaluation sheet on departure and left it at the desk with your staff.
