From day one it was great place to be, the staff are a big credit to the place, everything was nice and clean and working! My family and I were unfortunate to stay in one of Australia's worst Motor Inns, see for a Few Dollars More we stayed in the complete opposite at Best Western.. David at Reception a pure gentleman, Greg the owner top bloke, the Cleaners do a cracking job, and most of all the Chef's the food is stunning!! Paid for an upgrade to a spa room but the spa had a note stating it was out of order. You need to drive to the town centre and then sometimes it was hard to find a parking spot. Reception staff on booking out was not particularly friendly. Did not thank us for our stay. That is really the only criticism I have but it is only a minor thing. Nothing comes to mind. Restaurant closed Saturday evening. Some pudding bowls and spoons would be good so I could prepare my cereal for breakfast, it doesn't require cooking. Traffic, you could only drive into the hotel from one direction on a busy highway. However when you take everything else into consideration, eg. value for money, facilities, rooms, etc. It is a small problem. Road Noise. Door stopper in bathroom. Bed was to hard for us. Nothing. Parking on another level. When I arrived I was told my booking was for the next day and that they were full. I then provided my print out indicating that my booking was for that day. I was then given a room but no apology or comment regarding the mistake. The shower curtain in the disabled bathroom needs to be renewed and floor length so that the spray of the shower doesn't cover the floor in all directions. A thorough vacuum or new carpet is needed. On a busy street, so very noisy. Walls are very thin. The carpark was too far away from our room especially when using a wheelie walker.
