Best value we found in Port Douglas. Included continental breakfast was great. All you needed to start the day. 15min walk from main street, we walked to dinner everynight Great pool. Location is very good, walking distance to Port Douglas. Resort is good, clean, comfortable. Staff easily upgraded us upon request (was charged, but not much of a difference in price).

Convenient Location. Exceptional reception staff always acknowledging us with a smile. Great Location, not far from main street. Staff helpful with tourist attractions. Staff were very helpful and informative. Nothing was a problem for them. The resort was lovely. Good location,good facilities and well maintained. It offered everything we required in a holiday. The wonderful resort with its pools, close to the beach. It looks great. Location-close to beach and main street.Pool was good. the ambience. Went out of school holiday period, but still was some kids screaming in the pool. Spa wasn't hot. Wi-fi should be free throughout the resort, but you had to pay extra. Single beds pushed together to form a double bed, small rooms for the "hotel" room style. Kitchenette facilities just lacked a few things i.e. had to do vegetables with bread knife and a couple more bowls would have been handy. Other than that everything else fine!!!!. Room has a very musty smell in it. But other than that, everything was great. It would be nice if the doors didn't bang so loudly. Should be cheap to fix. But the one minus was the breakfast room. The staff were excellent but could not cope with replacing food, cutlery and crockery. All in all the room and staffing were inadequate for the number of people staying there. Our bed was soft &'the bedspread needed upgrading. It is a maze. Kept getting lost. Being an elderly couple, no lifts. Carrying luggage through the maze - a little daunting. However still enjoyed the stay. Could have been informed about the stairs. Would have asked for a ground level room or apartment. Paid extra $100 per night to upgrade to next sized room to fit in extra person. Sofa couch was broken and Mantra expected me to sleep on broken couch for the night (head sloped downwards). Ended up sleeping on the floor with a thin mattress. Was not impressed with slow response and multiple reminders to fix it. Was very expensive stay for what we got. No offer to reimburse cost of night on the floor!. Not made to feel welcome, television too small. Did not have basic Red Wine available for 3 days at pool bar, Tiles in bathroom dirty, Noisy, Poorly managed breakfast area.
