Lovely outlook from bedrooms onto tropical pools/plants area. Water trickling feature was a lovely sound as well as bird song in trees. Kitchen facility area outside was novel. Pool area was also lovely. Washing facility was a real bonus. Middle of the center of Port Douglas. All the shops, restaurants, port and beaches within walking distance from the hotel (10min. max). Nice pool area, beautiful room with balcony.

The room was great, really spacious, lovely comfy bed.. the fish pond / cascading water garden was a nice feature. great location, friendly staff. very comfortable,nice outdoor area with a well equipped kitchen, top location, close to shopping, restaurants and the marina. loved the location,the style, the view from balcony,and the swimming pool,a place I would recommend to anybody. i loved there spa and pool area. staff were lovley. close to shops and beach. Very good staff and value for money in a great location. Friendliness,comfort,position all excellent. Great location and it was a huge apartment. The location ,and pool setting . The beaufiful setting. All okay. spacious apartment with very large bathroom location to shopping centre, parkland and river good shower with plenty of hot water quiet peaceful surrounds kitchenette on verandah most appealing. Great Location. a little tired. The location. Position !!! until we found mantra on the inlet cheaper modern exceptional quality and $40 cheaper. Large rooms. We were on the ground floor so didn't have a balcony and we kept the shutters open as we like to see/hear outside when we wake up. Only problem with that was other people could walk past on the stepping stones and see in. Also meant we had to change our clothes in the bathroom for the same reason. Had to wash our own towels. Problem was there's only one washing machine which was busy every time we looked. Could do with one or two more machines. nothing. small fridge not enough towels sauna was not working. In port Douglas very few coffee shops know how to make a good coffee. We tried the regal hotel first and the staff were very unhelpful. Thank goodness we found club tropical. We will be back to club tropical and never try the regal in the future. All okay. lack of cleanliness furniture needs to be dusted thoroughly and polished - cane furniture will look and smell much better tile floors have ingrained dirt and need a good steam clean couch has a musty stale smell and needs a good steam clean to make it smell and feel clean It is a bit narky to charge for additional tea bags, coffee and sugar bags. Needs a referbishment I think. no sheet change - after 5 days. General state of unit 115 dishwasher not working refrigerator dripping water all around this was like this before we moved in. This unit needs a minimum of refreshment. The receptionist rang us 1 hour prior to our arrival at the resort because we were going to be approx 2 hours late due to virgin airlines seemed upset as she explained she wanted an early mark when we arrived we explained we had requested a water view said she was totally booked out gave us a key shut reception and took off. Club timeshare to rent on top of bars worn down needs major refurbishing far to expensive.
