We arrived on a busy Friday prior to check in time. The staff directed us to a suitable location where we could have a nice lunch and then phoned us when the room was ready(prior to check in time). The staff, in particular Kimi, were always very pleasant and willing to help and nothing seemed to be too much trouble.The hotel is not in one of the better areas of Perth however both the Murray Street & Hay street malls are a couple of minutes away which is convenient. all reviews » when I first booked on line I thought I had booked at another Adina that we had previous stayed at. After much stress getting to the hotel through peak hour Friday traffic we were very pleasantly surprised. Not only with the staff member that couldn't do enough for me. The close proximity to City, fantastic rooms. So now you are our Hotel of Choice and have been recommending to all our country friends. We loved the location. Easy and convenient for shopping. Front desk personnels were friendly esp a lady by the name of Kerry. Kudos to efficient service by cleaners. They did a great job by making sure our room was cleaned. However, they can improve by checking on the stove and oven cleanliness. All in all we truly enjoyed our stay!. The apartments are very central, only a short walk to Murray St. Mall. We were on the second floor, we did get there about noon and the apartment we were supposed to have ( 4th floor) was not yet ready. However ours was OK, it was very warm in Perth, the lounge area was nicely air-conditioned, but it didn't flow into the bedroom. 1. Big and spacious rooms 2. Clean lobby and rooms 3. Nice vew from the balcony 4. Everything easily accessible 5. All staff from girls at reception to cleaning lady are very nice, friendly and helpful. Loved our stay. Wifi in the room at a cheaper rate. Internet at $22 in your room when you can have downstairs for 5 cents/ min is a rip off, please reduce that cost. 4. Lift key card access needs to be improved, it always took 3-4 ties before it worked. Lack of Parking facilities. Checkout at 10.00 am (although if you ask they will on most occasions extend it for you within reason). Theres nothing to say. Access into Perth City via Freeway and Mounts Bay Road. My booking was made online, I contacted the Adina as soon as my booking was confirmed to make sure we had a car park. This did not happen, no parking available. But pleasant staff sorted this out for us and provided us ladies with a bottle of Champagne for the inconvenience caused.. Unfortunately outside surrounds (sex shop, tattoo / piercings & TAB shops) nearby may put some people off but did not in any way affect our stay or comfort with the apartment. Requested for housekeeping but was not fulfilled. A slightly later check out would have been good- but they allowed me to check out at 12pm (two hours late) for an extra $40. Could have used a little more local info, street and bus/train maps. A small point really. The rooftop pool was freezing cold. Some of the servicing was a bit erratic - towels were changed but several times we then had to ask for face cloths and bath mats as replacements weren't left. However matters were always put right cheerfully and quickly. Not enough complimentary tea, coffee or milk for us. My stay was too short!. For some reason there was a very strong chlorine or cleanser smell in corridors. Was in room until we opened it up to let fresh air in. Llike Perth generally, noticeably more expensive than equivalent in say South Australia.Street outside a bit seedy but fine inside. Booked multiple rooms and paid for them all but had some issues at checkout because all rooms were under my name and payments where allocated to one room only. Location felt un safe walking to it at nights. One staff member Parking out front to check in was full and could not get to hotel No aircon in bedrooms. The car parking took a bit of maneuvering and was a bit of an effort to get in and out. On the way out the exit wwas lined with rubbish bins and it left little room. Breakfast options not extensive. Nile. The bar (Bar 138) is not open on the weekend and would have enjoyed a few beers whilst watching the AFL so close to my room. Paying for parking and limited car bays. air con very noisy, bathroom floor may have been cleaned but did not look clean.no tea towels in kitchen, TV small compared to other places we have stayed. Couldn't get any of the gym equipment to work. Would help if clear instructions. Nothing really. Being in a room with no window Very noisy airconditioner. Limted parking & drop off pickup area out the front of building. Nothing. No restaurant Value, but that's valid for every venue in Perth... The location was very central, but not in a good part of the CBD, many beggars, etc. Housekeeping needs to be improved on. There is obviously no standard operating precedures for housekeeping and quality defers from individual housekeepers. While there we had beds half made to glasses not washed and kept. The bed was uncomfortable (too hard) which did impact on my enjoyment of my stay. Although it is centrally located, it is in a seedy part of the cbd. Nor did we like the position of the unit, facing an office building, railway lines and not much light at all. Was it because we booked via letsbookhotel.com? Expected more from a premier grand aptm. Would not stay in an Adina aptm again. Internet access was terrible and the cost was very high when compared to similar hotels in different countries.
