The hotel is in a wonderfully quiet location with a short walk to anything you could desire. The room was larger than we expected and had everything you might need in it. It was lovely sitting on the balcony having a drink in the evening watching children playing in the pool , everyone was enjoying themselves. The spa in the room and the delicious food at the inhouse restaurant - Temple of Tastes - we stayed 2 nights and went there for dinner on these nights. Credit to the chef and the restaurant manager.
all reviews » All the staff were very helpfu and friendly. The food was amazing. Daily room service ensured we always had toiletries. Far away from noise yet close enough to walk to the "entertainment area". We loved your service upon arrival. We were there to attend our good mates wedding and the Staff who assited with the wedding were unreal. Friendly, helpfull and just a pleasure to talk to!. The Sea Temple is beautifully designed and made for a very relaxing stay. Great food and friendly staff. Right on the beach. Excellent resort shop. I really enjoyed the overall look of the sea temple. Pool and pool bar were great, and Ireally enjoyed that you could walk straight out to the beach. It was ver easy to relax in such luxury. Staff were knowlegeable and super efficient & friendly. Restaurant, poolside bar and spa were great. Nothing!!. the pool was not cleaned when we were there - with fallen leaves floating on the pool. is that due for weekly clean or was it because it was raining on the 2 days we stayed there?. Food a little costly. Minibar prices too high. Spa treatments were way out of my budget. Rain... But thats north queensland for you. We stayed a couple of floors above the restaurant and there was a heavy trolley that rolled around every morning at 6.00am. The gardener had his leafblower on for half an hour while everyone was outside having breakfast - very noisy in an otherwise beautiful tropical setting. The only thing I can say that I was very unhappy about was that I booked on letsbookhotel.com, two weeks later I was just browsing the website and to my horror the accommodation I had booked had been discounted to nearly half the price. I contacted sea temple and tried to discus the issue, and too see if they could offer me a discount, and they didn't seem to care. Very disappointing. If you stay in a studio room, make sure you are very comfortable with your fellow traveller... The window between the shower and bedroom is practically see through, so privacy is very much lacking when showering! The shower leaked, not really much of an issue for us but may bother some. Little bit of a walk to other restaurants. Buffet breaky was overpriced at $25 for continental and would be better by the pool than the lobby. Nothing. Nothing to dislike. The showers, need to change the shower heads. It feels like needles hitting your body. Nothing. Tradesmen starting at 6.30 am was not really a good idea and the bed was way to soft as in needed replacing also food needs attention. The shower head was very bad . Too much tiled area as our 10 month old baby is walking and falls over a bit . They really need new window furnishings. Cleaniness of room wasn't kept upto scratch considering the Sea Temple is classed as a 5* Hotel the blinds were in a terrible condition, wripped & mouldy!!! The extraction fan in the bathroom didn't work, which saturated the whole bathroom during shower. Bad ratio Quality/Price. Really too expensive respect the quality of the hotel. No WIFI in the room, ridiculous for this hotel standard.
