Good location for our trip from Sydney to Melbourne. We found the staff very helpful and the ambience at Lindenwarrah wonderful after a days driving. We had a very bad experience once before so we were pleasantly surprised and happy with the visit. Location Excellent service (would like to acknowledge one particular staff member who. Not sure of his name but worked on the evening of Sunday 09/06/2013 and checked us in. Very helpful, knowledgable and efficient) Food.

Wines opposite. Loved our stay. Staff were very obliging and happy to accommodate needs outside the normal. Beautiful views and property well maintained. Friendly staff. We were there on a Tuesday evening & there was nowhere to eat. The recommended pub was pretty basic. Too many young children spoilt the visit. Woken at 5am by noisy children in neighbouring room. Pool entrance slippery with no safety rail, and pool area unkept and hot. No comfortable chairs in rooms. The bathroom was noticeably in need of a good clean. The premises needs a much overdue facelift, e.g carpets. Pillow a bit too hard. Heating in room too slow to warm up a large room quickly Balcony not private No bath tub No pay TV. Room was too bright early in the morning. Hotel had not received notification of our booking. Restaurant not of same standard as facilities. It wasn't bad, but breakfast was a bit ordinary. Not a deal breaker though. Upstairs Very noisy on the roof sounded like the air conditioners. That the Hotel restaurant wasn't open during our stay as the local resaurants open for dinner were poor. Restaurant and bar closed the night we were there. No where else in village open that night either (a Tuesday). A little lacking in character but has great potential to be more comfortable. Lots of insects about; ants on balcony as we were watching sunset and midges in room at night. Expensive. Expensive food and wine prices. King bed that rocks and bounces. Small Flat Screen TV for size of bedroom. Charge of 1.5% for credit card payments. Room was relatively clean except for spider webs in most corners of ceiling which harboured mosquitoes or some sort of insect. I asked for the curtains to be changed as they were filthy and the same insects were all over them.
