all reviews » Staff were very helpful. Excellent position opposite the park and Lake for ease of exercise. Large room, very comfortable. Good access to the main tram line on St Kilda Rd. Pool area Closeness to the city and St Kilda Staff accommodated our two rooms to be co-joined Easy to find when we got to Melbourne. accomodation was satisfactory Door staff and staff in general were excellent some of the best to deal with. The room was perfect for our little family of four. The buffet was amazing, excellent variety. Beds really comfortable looked nice good car park staff knowledgeable convienant locality. We stayed 3 nights but after 2 nights we still hadn't had our room made up so we had to call reception. Never had a 4 star hotel that didn't make our beds every morning. A bit of a hike to find eateries other than the hotel. Hotel undergoing renovation - possibly why the rate was so reasonable - only aesthetically inconvenient. a room where the view is the rooms of the building next door. The Renos looked horrible. Price should have been much cheaper considering the hotel was covered in white plastic barriers to hide the construction work. I had no idea this was happening, wish I had been warmed. I moved the beds looking for a wall socket to plug my ipad in so I could use it in bed but there weren't any and it was very very dusty under the bed head and on the skirting board. The meal I ordered from room service was pretty aweful! I thought that there were quite a few Asian guests, so I would be safe ordering the braised beef with asian greens, but it was less than ordinary. the bathroom. the shower was inadequate and the room a bit dark and pokey. but in saying that i have had a lot worse. Parking had a slight catch - $16 every time you exit the carpark. Its a public carpark not owned by the hotel. Room service was very expensive. that we didn't get to stay longer. The cost of parking my car. No dislikes. view is not good. The rooms are uncomfortable and too expensive for what you pay . Really disgusting beds and rooms and way expensive carpark.
