Located in the heart of the Margaret River wine region, Bussells Bushland Cottages each feature a patio with BBQ facilities, a fully equipped kitchen and lovely views of the surrounding native gardens and trees. Free WiFi is provided.
The Bushland Cottages each have a lounge area with a wood-fired stove, a sofa and a TV with a CD/DVD player. A private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and toiletries is standard in all cottages.
You can explore the many walking trails on-site or just relax with a book on your shaded patio. There are picnic benches throughout the grounds which offer perfect viewing points for kangaroo spotting and bird watching.
Set on 20 hectares, Bussells Cottages are 10 minutes’ drive from the Margaret River town centre. It is 15 minutes’ drive from Prevelly Beach. Hamelin Bay is 35 minutes’ drive away.
Upon arrival, guests are provided with a small breakfast package which includes cereal, fresh juice, bread, jams, milk, tea and coffee.

Three of us stayed, my wife, myself and my sister-in-law. We loved the cottages, they are very clean, modern, well designed and equipped, with really comfy beds and generous sized pillows. A private, peaceful and tranquil setting but not feeling at all isolated. A nice short drive to town. Loved the animals and birds. Birdseed, line and pegs nice touches as was starter breakfast. The price and ease of booking on line procedure, the location, the presentation of the property, the quietness of the cottage when every cabin was booked all weekend, the bush walks and the birds, the greeting including a continental b/fast and complementary bottle of wine. The information folder was most useful and the discounts offered for mentioning Bushland Cottages at various places.
Just about everything. Bussells Bushland Cottages are well located in bushland, but just a 5 minute drive to town. The 8 cottages are nicely spread out on the property, so you're never really aware of other visitors. They are comfortably furnished, the kitchen is well equipped, and the wood fire is a great way to keep the cottage warm. And Gail, the manager, is very friendly and helpful.
what can you not love about this place OMG the cottages were absolutely amazing, the wood fire was beautiful and the wildlife and bushland was amazing. Was so nice interacting with the animals. It was a great place to relax and get back in touch with nature and to get away from everything.
And the people who run the cottages are such lovely people. Will be back again and again and again.
Very comfortable, cosy, self contained cottages with potbelly stove to keep you warm during winter and fantastic amenities. Beautiful country setting with wildlife on your doorstep. Good location to the town and local winery/breweries.

kangaroos at times. Comfortable bed, breakfast starter pack and

Superb experience for youn kids. Like the fire place and the overall feeling of the cottage. Able to see kangaroos and sheep at the backyard!.

We personally had no issues as we felt our cottages met and went beyond meeting our expectations.
I had just a couple of concerns. Firstly, there are no power points in the bedrooms. As it turned out, this wasn't a major problem for us, but it would be a problem for anyone with a CPAP machine. Secondly, the firewood, though well provided, was not thoroughly dry and some of it was difficult to burn.

Would have liked a linen change half way through our stay.
No other heating other than wood fire, so if you could not start a good
fire it was cold. Some pots and pans were quite dirty.
Washing sponge should be provided. Best if there is a dryer for clothes.
