  comfortable, friendly,reasonably priced, convenient supermarket next door, also takeaways nearby . it was a couple of minutes from the Silver Dome where we had our convention. The Bed was Comfortable. and the staff friendly and helpful. We found that the spa and pool and sauna was a pleasant bonus, thanks. what we enjoyed was the quiet evenings ,... what people say » as we could sleep well. we would like to visit and stay again in a few months. we would recommend your hotel to friends. thanks for a pleasant couple - The Olde Tudor provided us with excellent accommodation for our golf week in Launceston. It was central to all of the Golf Courses and was in close proximity of eateries, bars, shops and transport. The facilities(pool, spa and sauna) were also an added bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was clean and modern and more than adequate in size and facilities.

  this hotel was in a great location, close enough to walk to city centre, yet far enough away from city noise. Very clean rooms. Receptionist kindly gave us a key to put our bags in room and freshen up even though our room was not quite ready. - The breakfasts were excellent. At night you can see the paddy melons & rabbits come out to feed. Where can you stay & get a complimentary breakfast & news paper everyday for the best price in town , Well done. - Excellent... what people say » value for money. New Management has taken over (it was their 4th day of operations). A very friendly welcome on arrival. A start is in process of updating the rooms in the next week or so.   I found them supportive, informative, flexible and willing to go that extra mile to help out. I also found the food in the restaurant of an unusually high standard and a perfect and warming way to end my day after intense and pressured days to achieve things necessary to set up my new life in Tasmania before I was due to return to the mainland. Th... what people say » ey helped me find local supermarkets, white goods stores, furniture etc. They were friendly and fun. - The room I was allotted was a pleasant surprise in that it was spacious, recently updated, tidy, clean and had a flat panel TV / DVD and all the usual appliances. The hot water was nearly instant. There was a separate area for relaxing / having breakfast. The poached eggs & bacon I had was better that most an very well presented. Parking was not a problem. I'm told by locals that the onsight restaurant is well regarded.
