The accommodation was spacious and well set out especially for our little family. All the staff were so happy and friendly and willing to help. It was our first time at the edge resort but definatly won't be our last. We had such a wonderful time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant excellent and innovative, was a far higher standard than we were expecting. Accommodation was a good size with good facilities. If staying in Kalbarri I would recommend the Edge as the place to stay.

Will be back and definitely recommend as the best place to stay in Kalbarri!. Large, modern room. Well located as the beach is just a short walk away. Restaurants nearby as well. Probably the most comfortable bed we've slept on in all of Western Australia. Even the kids slept in late. Lovely staff, well furnished rooms and facilities were excellent. Restaurant food was lovely, good value for money, huge servings and service was great. Staff very friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Proximity to town and beach. Self contained unit but with excellent room service. The location was great we could see the beach on our balcony, with walking distance to beach. The staff were very helpful. When we change the room it was good. Rooms were well kitted out. Huge rooms with self catering facilities, very clean and could park outside. Food in the restaurant was great if pricey. the restaurant is good but expensive. No view from the room, but this was as described and there is nothing they can do about it due to being a block back from the water so no real complaint. With that said the balcony was a good size and offered privacy. Pool on the small side. Very limited and tight parking near units. Made unloading luggage quite difficult as you had to drag them quite some distance to your unit. Would of liked it better if they had a sauna. Nothing. Couldn't get wifi signal or Foxtel sports (but never had time to get help from reception -they could have possibly sorted issues). WIFI did not work and it appears this is a common problem related to coverage across the complex. Management is very naughty advertising free WIFI when it knows it cannot deliver the service. We selected this place on the basis of free WIFI and would have booked elsewhere had we known it was not available. We were disappointed with Kalbarri itself...either everything was shut, or the people in Kalbarri made us feel that tourists weren't really welcome. ants in kitchen. Wifi in all rooms advertised but didn't work - had to sit in reception to get (intermittent) signal. Washer had no separate drying cycle so clothes came out very creased. It was a "suite" as it had a separate bedroom but hardly "Executive". Resteraunt not open on Sunday and it looked good. Pool too cold Little creature found in pool filter!. The microwave setup. It was on a platform over the dish washing sink. Every time I bent my head over a bit I hit the platform. The only other thing it would have been better with sea view but its not that type of location. extremely strong chemical smell that lasted at least 24 hrs, I think it was drain cleaner?. Nothing. Pool needs to be covered in the evening as it is too cold to go into. hot water system wasn't adequate. We had breakfast at the resort,my husband ordered the big cooked breakfast for $19 ,to get a coffee to go with it he had to purchase the continental breakfast at $7 to get the coffee.After paying $19 for breakfast not impressed, wasn't a $19 breakfast. Noisy neighbours! Apartments very close together!. Over exageration of the room classification. The so called Deluxe room was actually a Standard room. A Deluxe room should have a nice view and not look at a brick wall. The Wifi should work and it didn'T. I would expect bathrobes and maybe a few extra differences to make it a Deluxe room. I thought we had paid for a spa room and instead we had a room with a really leaky shower. we paid ALOT and we werent happy at all. they shouldnt advertise spa room. Very expensive for what it offers. it doesnt offer free breakfast. The small room that we had when we arrived is Ok for one night but longer we have a better view at home even the garden , those room we see only the carpark and very depressing should have a balcony also we had to call at midnight the manager for noise control they ask to sign a form for no pet and no smoking should ask also for respect to other. Very noisy stayed at a bottom unit near the pool linen trundles going past many guest walking past to check out the pool wouldn't want to stay there again. The reason for my choosing this hotel was the promise of wifi in all areas. This was untrue as there was no internet available in our accommodation or the near vicinity. Expensive (but then Australia is expensive these days for Brits on holiday), no bar or cafe facility and internet was intermittent. Rooms lacked personality and no table lamps, only main ceiling lighting which made it very stark. basic and dark room similar to motel room for US standard with an unusual smell. some problem with the wi-fi. noisy. Rude attitude of staff starting from Reception to Housekeeping !.
